In anticipation of the single day of voting

Prior to the single voting day in the republic is six weeks. The district and territorial election commissions carried out the registration of candidates for deputies of all levels. By mid-October 92 candidates to local councils of people's deputies were registered. The largest number was recorded in Tiraspol - 26 candidates, 25 - in Bendery, and 24 in Dubossary and Dubossary district. The Territorial Election Commission (TEC) of Grigoriopol and Grigoriopol district has registered 8 candidates, Kamenka District and the city of Kamenka - 5 and Rybnitsa and Rybnitsa district - 4.

As for candidates VI convocation for deputies of the Supreme Council of PMR, there were 121 people, 44 candidates were registered. Regarding five persons there was taken decision to refuse registration.

With regard to the campaign carried out by candidates, electoral associations and electoral blocs, CEC Chairman noted that its implementation should be completed at midnight on November 28.
