On the eve of Builder's Day

More than a hundred of the best engineers, painters, architects, designers and milling-machine operators were awarded state awards, diplomas and letters of thanks. The solemn event took place at the Palace of the Republic on the eve of the Builder's Day. The holiday is celebrated on the second Sunday of August in Pridnestrovie.

Gregory Dyachenko, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens, congratulated workers and veterans of the construction industry on behalf of the Supreme Council.

Gregory Dyachenko noted his special attitude to this professional holiday, because the deputy began his career at the House-Building Plant as a legal adviser.

The solemn ceremony honoring the best representatives of the profession was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development Sergey Obolonik, Deputy Minister of Economic Development – Head of the Department of Construction, Architecture and Roads Yury Oleinik, Deputy Head of the Capital State Administration Gennady Gorokh.

A festive concert was organized for workers and veterans of the construction industry. The state musical band "Liberty" performance was a special surprise.
