A ceremonial meeting was held in the Slobodzeya District Department of Internal Affairs on the eve of Militia Day

A ceremonial event dedicated to Militia Day was held on the parade ground in front of the Slobodzeya District Department of Internal Affairs on November 6. It was attended by current employees, veterans of the service, young recruits, the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the head of the district state administration Vasily Tishchenko, the deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for the constituency Number 21 "Slobozeysky" Pavel Shinkaryuk, the dean of the Slobodzeya district, Archpriest Andrei Danilescu.

Those present laid fresh flowers at the monument to the Militia officers who died in the line of duty.

New employees were sworn in for allegiance to the republic and people of Pridnestrovie on the solemn day.

A number of Militia officers and veterans of the service were awarded state and departmental awards, and some were awarded further special ranks for conscientious performance of official duties and high professionalism.

The parliamentarian wished the Militia officers and veterans of the internal affairs agencies good health, family happiness, well-being, peace and goodness. The parliamentarian presented certificates and letters of gratitude from the Supreme Council to the distinguished employees.

An exhibition of equipment from the Slobodzeya garrison of internal affairs was presented on the central street of Slobodzeya.
