Helping future students

Meeting of the Presidium of the Youth Parliament of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was held today in the briefing hall of the Supreme Council. The agenda included issues that concerned both the work of the parliament itself and the social activities of young deputies.

The first issue on the agenda of the Presidium is replenishment in the Youth Parliament. There was a competitive selection for two vacancies, candidates were considered by a special commission in the spring. Young parliamentarians were waiting for initiative and full of new ideas of future colleagues, preferably with experience in implementing a variety of projects, and such were found. Young parliamentarians will start work in the near future.

As for the work with the projects submitted for the "100 ideas for Pridnestrovie" contest, the Youth Parliament decided to help. They sent their ideas, which can be implemented in the republic in order to develop various spheres of life, from all cities and regions. Members of the Youth Parliament have reviewed each project and are now offering participants options on where to turn with their ideas to implement them so that they do not remain only on paper. The "100 ideas for Pridnestrovie" contest was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education.

There is one more, new project of the Youth Parliament. Young deputies decided to help first-year students who will enter the Pridnestrovian State University this year and come from other cities and regions of the republic. Guide stands will appear on the campus at the end of summer, at the initiative of the Youth Parliament.

Stands on the campus are planned to be made large, with human height, so that a first-year student can find the way to the desired building or to any point in the capital easily and simply.

All issues that were discussed today at the meeting of the Presidium of the Youth Parliament will be included in the agenda of the plenary meeting of young parliamentarians.
