In the course of the meeting with representatives of mass media, Sergei Cheban told about the work of the committee headed by the committee, which consists of only three people's deputies. But they considered more than 80 legislations and 85 citizens' appeals during the spring session.

According to Sergei Cheban, the members of the Committee in this half-year focused on legislative support for the implementation of the voters' orders, which were included in the electoral program of the President Vadim Krasnoselsky. All of them were aimed at raising the level of social protection of the citizens of the republic, the fulfillment of the state's obligations to them. Particular attention was paid to disabled people and participants of the Great Patriotic War, only about two hundred people. All of them are exempt from all kinds of taxes and utility payments. Free of charge was returned for public transport, canceled during the administration of Yevgeny Shevchuk.

Benefits for the payment of utility services are now used by the recipients of the Russian pension, living in the republic both on a residence permit and on the basis of temporary registration.

Regarding the functioning of the health care system, Sergei Cheban noted that the acting has already exhausted itself, there is no such thing in any country in the post-Soviet space. Currently, there is a commission that works out ways of reforming this important social sector. At the same time, the head of the profile parliamentary committee considers it necessary, even in this state, to increase the amount of funding for the health sector.
