In support of the United Russia in the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation

The headquarters of public support of the United Russia party was opened today in Pridnestrovie. The Russian CEC registered 3900 candidates for the State Duma from 14 Russian parties. The largest number of candidates is from the United Russia party. 36 days left until the Election Day. It will take place from 17 to 19 September. 

27 polling stations will be opened in 7 constituencies in Pridnestrovie. Residents of the republic, who are citizens of the Russian Federation, will be able to vote in elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

The Head of the United Russia faction in the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergei Neverov and the State Duma deputies representing the interests of Pridnestrovians were addressed by the PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov.

There are 200 thousand Russian citizens living in Pridnestrovie. 5 years ago, Pridnestrovians were given the opportunity to vote in the parliamentary elections in Russia. The same opportunity will be provided in this election campaign.

The collection of orders and proposals for candidates for State Duma deputies from United Russia has begun today. Pridnestrovian Russians can write and leave orders in Tiraspol at the central post office, in Rybnitsa and Dubossary - in the city center near the Sheriff supermarkets, in other cities - on the central square.

The federal and regional headquarters of public support for the United Russia party began work just a few days ago in Russia. It include the largest public organizations of the Russian Federation, experts and leaders of public opinion in various fields. The Head of the federal headquarters of public support for United Russia is Hero of the Russian Federation, Senator Alexander Karelin.

The Pridnestrovian headquarters of public support on the first day of work,  included 5 public organizations of Pridnestrovie and the Obnovlenie republican party. The headquarters was headed by the vice-speaker of the Pridnestrovian parliament, head of the Obnovlenie party Galina Antyufeyeva.

The interests of Pridnestrovians in the State Duma of the Russian Federation will be represented by 7 deputies. Among the candidates from United Russia are current deputies Sergei Neverov, Artem Turov, Sergei Chizhov. They often visited the republic and met with Pridnestrovians. There are also new names among the candidates: Roman Efremov, Andrey Vorobyov, Alexander Strelyukhin and Marina Orheeva. Online - by video link - they took part in the first meeting of the support headquarters today. It will be possible to communicate offline with candidates in the near future, when they hold meetings with compatriots in Pridnestrovie.
