The Yakovlev Readings were started at PSU

The Yakovlev Readings were held at the Pridnestrovian State University for the seventh time. The scientific and practical conference is annually dedicated to the founder and first rector of PSU Vasily Yakovlev. Vasily Nikitovich - Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Honored Lawyer of the MSSR, Academician of the International Slavic Academy of Sciences, Education, Arts and Culture. He stood at the origins of the formation of legal science in the MSSR and is one of the founders of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Vasily Yakovlev is called a fighter for the rights of the multinational people of Pridnestrovie. He was elected to the Supreme Council of the first convocation in November 1990. The parliamentarian is a co-author of the Declaration of Independence and the first Constitution of the PMR.

The Vice Speaker of the Parliament read out the welcoming address of the Chairman of the Supreme Council. Addressing the participants of the online conference, Alexander Korshunov emphasized: Law is the attribute of our State.

This year the theme of the scientific and practical conference is "Modern legal science: topical issues of theory, law enforcement and education". The forum program includes the work of six sections. The reports of the participants were devoted to the problems of training legal personnel, state youth policy and other topics.

Scientists, practicing lawyers of Pridnestrovie and the Russian Federation, representatives of the PMR authorities, ministries and departments and students of PSU take part in the scientific-practical conference annually.

The Yakovlev Readings are held from 22 to 23 April. Following the results of the scientific forum, participants will receive diplomas.
