The Obnovlenie party determines the winners and prize winners of the competitions about Suvorov

The winners and prize winners among the participants of the creative drawing competition were selected by professional jury at the central office of the Obnovlenie party today. The Obnovlenie party together with the Future of Pridnestrovie Foundation organized creative drawing and essay competitions for the 295th anniversary of the birth of the founder of Tiraspol, Generalissimo Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov. The author of the project is the Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, member of the Central Council of the "Obnovlenie" republican political party Ilona Tyuryaeva.

Children had sent more than 500 drawings by October 11. Schoolchildren studying in art schools and art studios of Pridnestrovie, and students of comprehensive schools took part in the drawing competition “My offspring, please follow my example...” The young artists were offered two nominations to choose from: “Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov” and “Alexander Suvorov – the founder of Tiraspol”. The works are evaluated in three age categories: 7–10 years; 11–13 years; 14–18 years.

Teachers from art schools in Tiraspol studied all the works submitted for the competition today. Each of them, looking at the drawing, sees where the child drew independently, where the direction given by the teacher is felt, and other criteria important for the final assessment. The most important thing, the jury noted, is that the drawing must meet the criteria of age and execution.

The best essays on the topic “Invincible Suvorov” will be selected by the end of this week. The works will be assessed by a professional jury, which includes writers, poets and journalists. Not only schoolchildren, but also students of secondary and higher vocational educational institutions could take part in the literary creative competition. Children from different cities sent more than 250 creative essays. The essay competition is also held in three age groups: 11-13 years; 14-18 years; 19-23 years. The winners and prize-winners of the creative competitions of drawings and essays about the founder of Tiraspol, Generalissimo Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov will be named by the end of November, on the eve of the commander's birthday. The most important gift will be the publication of drawings and essays of the Pridnestrovian youth in a special booklet, which will be presented next year as part of a large project for the 295th anniversary of Alexander Suvorov. The printed edition will contain poems by great poets about the great Russian commander, and this booklet will also feature drawings and essays by schoolchildren and students from the cities and villages of Pridnestrovie.
