He devoted his life to serving the country and its citizens, actively participated in the development and adoption of important socially significant laws aimed at improving the social situation of people, protecting the rights and freedoms of every citizen.
Viktor Arestov after finishing his work in the Supreme Council headed the Union of Russian Communities of Pridnestrovie for a long time and was engaged in public work. He was a participant in political strikes, a member of the strike committee and the Consultative Assembly of the first Pridnestrovian deputies.
Deputies of the 7th convocation honored the memory of the parliamentarian Viktor Arestov with a minute of silence in the course of the plenary meeting of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic today.
