The basis - the economy

Representative Russian delegation, which included the envoys of the executive and legislative branches of the 9 regions of Russia, takes part in inter-regional forum "Russia - Pridnestrovie: ways and opportunities for cooperation". Among the organizers, along with the All-Russian political party "The United Russia", was the Parliament of Pridnestrovie, as well as CCI PMR, charities "The Future of Pridnestrovie" and "The Creation".

On behalf of the members of the ruling Russian party "The United Russia" members of the Russian-Pridnestrovian Forum welcomed the party secretary of the General Council of "The United Russia", Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, deputy head of the parliamentary faction "The United Russia" party in the lower house of parliament Sergei Neverov. The Duma deputy Sergei Chizhov read his greeting.

It was noted in particular in the message that "the forum is a continuation of work on the development of cooperation between Russian regions and Pridnestrovie, the impetus for further cooperation and broad partnership". Sergei Neverov in his address to the forum expressed gratitude to the Pridnestrovian Russians always take an active civic position, expressing hope that such activity they will be on the day of elections to the Duma September 18, 2016.

The Chairman of the Supreme Council Vadim Krasnoselsky made a report sets the tone of  later discussions. He spoke of the unbreakable ties that bind Russia and Pridnestrovie, comprehensive assistance provided by it to our people about the uniqueness of the peacekeeping operation and intolerant position when exports from Pridnestrovie to the Russian Federation has been steadily declining.

Deputy Chairman of the Kaliningrad region government Alexey Silanov, Chairman of the Smolensk city council Yuri Cynkin emphasized economic aspect of relations between Russia and Pridnestrovie. They repeatedly noted that the basis of all is the economy, which in turn determines the level of development of social sphere. In the midst of the discussion - issues of creating favorable conditions for increasing the export of Pridnestrovian goods to Russian consumers, creation of joint ventures in the republic.

The economic theme was continued by the forum participants within the framework of the discussion on topical issues of development of inter-regional cooperation in the sphere of economy, small and medium business, agriculture and social sphere.
