The traditions of the past – are at the heart of the future

Music has very powerful emotional impact. At all times, it fosters mankind feelings. Specialized educational institutions of the republic made contribution to the musical and aesthetic education of children. This is a music school in Dubossary that has the name of the glorious countryman, the famous folk musician George Murgu.

Approximately 3500 people became graduates of the school during the time of its work. Many of them - are known figures of the musical art, the winners of the Republican-Union and international competitions.

The anniversary celebrating of the music school was held at the Palace of youth creativity. Deputy Dubossary constituency Peter Pasat handed director music school Vasily Mikhailovsky the testimonial of head of the legislative body of the Republic and merit certificate of the Supreme Council.

Peter Pasat admitted that as a child, despite the variety of sports areas, like many peers, also devoted some time to the lessons of beauty.

Today the school has six departments: piano and vocal, Department of brass, string, Russian folk instruments, as well as theoretical disciplines and preparatory department. High rates of school reached thanks to a friendly, professional team that is constantly in search of creative, carefully preserved and passed rich experience of past years to the next generation.

Today, high school students are brought up under the guidance of 44 teachers. Many of them are honored and excellent cultural workers of PMR. The headmaster is among 34 teachers.

The teachers of the school honoring ceremony was on the day of celebration. A number of teachers were awarded diplomas.
