Vadim Krasnoselsky, "Our statehood is the main guarantee of the life of the republic"

The President Vadim Krasnoselsky, Parliament Speaker Aleksandr Shcherba, deputy Grigory Dyachenko, members of social organizations took part in the meeting of the consultative assembly of the first Pridnestrovian Deputies under the Chairman of the Supreme Council. The main topic of the meeting was the meeting of Vadim Krasnoselsky and Igor Dodon. The dialogue between the leaders of Pridnestrovie and Moldova took place the first time in 8 years on January 4 in Bendery. The meeting was initiated by Moldovan side and, as the president of Pridnestrovie Vadim Krasnoselsky noted, it was of familiarization character.

The President briefed today founders of the Republic, members of the consultative meeting. During the meeting, the president emphasized, primarily voiced the concerns of the Pridnestrovian citizens. Including the role of peacekeepers on the banks of the Dniester was discussed.

Among the issues raised by January 4 there were problem of movement, recognition of documents and number plates. The two leaders agreed to develop a package of problematic issues that require speedy resolution. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasizedthat questions the political status of the republic were discussed during the last meeting.

The outcome of the meeting was the adoption of the document in which the founders of the Pridnestrovian statehood developed of a number of recommendations for the public authorities. Among them there is a proposal to consolidate the principles and bases of the negotiation process at the legislative level. According to the first President of PMR Igor Smirnov, there appear certain frameworks for the head of state. Founders of the Republic made an appeal to the president to submit the law-in-draft to the Supreme Council.
