The President Vadim Krasnoselsky held a working meeting devoted to the preparation for the upcoming significant and large-scale events in August and early September, the presidential official website reports. Its goal is to develop a common concept and main directions for further work on the preparation of plans, scenarios, and programs.
Among the significant holidays that are republic-wide in nature, the Day of the formation of the 55th Podolsky Regiment (August 29), the Day of Knowledge (September 1), the Republic Day (September 2), the traditional event "President for a Healthy Lifestyle" (September 8), and the youth gathering "The Heirs of the Victory", to the organization of which the most directly related is the chairman of the parliamentary committee for public associations, sport, information and youth policy Igor Buga. It is scheduled for September 7-9 and will be held in the health resort "The Dniester Dawns". Here, more than three dozen teams representing higher and secondary schools, junar detachments, Cadet and Suvorov movements will gather. Each team consists of 15 people. The number of instructors is about 50 specialists.
Participants in the rally will compete in physical and special training, demonstrate abilities in reconnaissance and other military-oriented activities. The President drew attention to the need to organize a cultural and entertainment part. It is entrusted to organize demonstration performances of the guard of Honor Company, concerts, possibly, youth discos.
Concluding the meeting, the President emphssized that when preparing cultural events it is important to coordinate and coordinate events, listen to the opinion of colleagues, draw on the experience and generate new ideas, the embodiment of which will make the celebrations brighter and more interesting for residents and guests of the republic.
