In the interests of voters

The Supreme Council has begun formation of the program to execute the orders of voters for 2019. Parliamentarians adopted the corresponding resolution in the course of the plenary session. It is planned to allocate 8.6 million rubles from the republican budget for the implementation of this program this year, that is, 200 thousand rubles for each electoral district. The amount of funds is twice as much as last year.

At the same time, following the example of Tiraspol, in all cities and districts they plan to apply a new way of spending the fund of the orders of voters: to unite allocated funds from the republican and local budgets. The Chairman of the Supreme Council explained how the innovation will operate on the example of his constituency in Bendery.

Parliamentarians will directly learn from their constituents about what to do in the district in the first place. The funds are not allocated to a specific deputy, but according to the approved plan for each object separately. As the Speaker of the Parliament noted, deputies have to find out what the citizens need most, and then check that the works are completed on time.

The main directions of the program of execution of the orders of voters are the improvement of territories, gardening, repair of housing stock objects and internal roads. What exactly can be done in the constituencies this year, will be known after the program will be finally formed and adopted by the deputies.
