Commemorative events were held in Dubossary on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the shelling in Dubossary and Tsybulevka. The heads of enterprises and organizations left the building of the city district council on July 6, 1992, after the next meeting on the life support of the city and villages of the district during the armed conflict. They came under artillery fire from the Republic of Moldova at that moment. Rafael Goreev, Ilya Guritsenko, Vyacheslav Dodul, Gennady Kuznetsov, Natalya Lupolova, Galina Marchenko, Stepan Pokotilo, Vasily Radovsky were killed as a result of the blow. The activities of these people were aimed at ensuring that the city, which was shelled almost daily, did not need anything, that its residents had enough food, and social facilities were working.
The village of Tsybulevka was subjected to artillery shelling in the evening of the same day, about 40 shells were fired. 7 villagers died, 15 were injured then.
The rally dedicated to this mournful date was attended by the leadership of the city of Dubossary and the Dubossary region, deputy of the Supreme Council for constituency number 11 "Central" Boris German, relatives and friends of the victims, members of the public.
Those present honored the memory of the dead with a minute of silence and laid flowers at their graves at the Memorial of Military Glory and a memorial sign installed at the site of the tragedy.
