On the Great Victory Day

Memorial events dedicated to the Great Victory Day were held throughout the republic today. A flower-laying ceremony was held at the Memorial of Glory of the capital before the Victory Day parade. It was attended by President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky, Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, Vice Speaker of the Parliament Galina Antyufeyeva, deputies of the Supreme Council, Head of Government Alexander Martynov, heads of state authorities, local self-government, Tiraspol-Dubossary diocese, command of the OGRV in Pridnestrovie.

The memory of the defenders who gave their lives for the Motherland was honored with a minute of silence. Fresh flowers were laid to the graves of the heroes.

Deputies of the PMR Supreme Council congratulated the Pridnestrovians on the holiday and addressed the veterans with words of gratitude.

Most of the deputies of the Supreme Council of the PMR today were in their constituencies in the towns and districts of Pridnestrovie. They laid flowers at the Memorials of Glory and met with veterans of the Great Patriotic War. Deputies congratulated the residents of the republic on Victory Day in social networks on personal or pages of constituencies.
