In gratitude for peace and freedom

Jubilee medal "25 years of reflection of armed aggression against Pridnestrovie" was awarded to 90 defenders of the republic - residents of the city of Dnestrovsk, the website of “The Obnovlenie” (Renewal) Republican Party reports. This award in 2017 was established by the President Vadim Krasnoselsky.

The awards were given to the defenders of the PMR by the deputy of the Supreme Council Viktor Guzun and the head of the state administration of Dnestrovsk Sergey Karyuk.

The parliamentarian Viktor Guzun recalled that thousands of Pridnestrovians rose to protect the republic, hundreds of participants in military operations and civilians gave their lives for the freedom of the young republic in 1992.

A concert was given as a gift to the defenders of Pridnestrovie at the end of the awarding ceremony.
