Sports complex was opened in the "Solnechny" square of Bendery

The Solnechny Square in Bender was built for about two years. A large-scale project was launched in 2020 at the initiative of the Chairman of the Supreme Council and deputy for district number 1 Alexander Korshunov, deputies of the Bendery City Council and with the support of President Vadim Krasnoselsky. The official opening of the square with a children's playground and places for recreation and walks took place in November last year. Then there were works on the construction of a sports complex. The facility was completed this week and officially opened today. The residents of the Solnechny microdistrict were congratulated on this event by the Chairman of the Supreme Council, deputy for district No. 1 Alexander Korshunov, the city leadership and deputies of the City Council.

The Chairman of the Supreme Council expressed his gratitude to everyone who is related to the appearance of a place of rest in this microdistrict. According to Alexander Korshunov, thanks to the attention and special control of the President, the opportunity to find financial resources in very difficult current conditions, the facility was completed. The state administration of the city of Bendery controlled the progress of work.

Pupils of football and athletics sections will be able to train at the sports complex, and physical education classes will be held. The site will be lit until 22:00.

New sports grounds were tested by young football players and basketball players today. Training and competitions will now take place in improved conditions.

They want at the end of August to hold the traditional Solnechny mini-football tournament on the new sports field. Children played on uneven sandy surfaces and could be injured previously. The sports ground opened today will allow the children to show a beautiful game and football passion, the Chairman of the Supreme Council, the organizer of the annual tournament Alexander Korshunov considers.

Applications for participation in the tournament are accepted at the public reception of Alexander Korshunov at school No. 16 every Friday from 16:00.
