Honoring employees for the anniversary of the state administration was held in Bendery

A ceremonial event was held at the Palace of Culture named after Pavel Tkachenko in honor of the 30th anniversary of the state administration of the city of Bendery. The hall was filled with current employees and veterans, representatives of city services and departments, clergy, and deputies.

All those present were able to look at a photo exhibition in the foyer dedicated to the round date of the city executive authority before the start.

The participants of the celebration were shown a film about the history of the creation of the state administration, its current activities, and its leaders. The head of the city Roman Ivanchenko summed up the work over many years. He did it with an emphasis on people.

The state administration includes 17 structural divisions. Presenting the work of each of them, Roman Ivanchenko primarily focused on the employees of the departments. The head of the city spoke about productive interaction with the City Council of People's Deputies and with the deputies of the Supreme Council – 6 parliamentarians represent the interests of residents of Bendery in the legislature. These are Ruslan Gareyev (electoral district No. 6 "Pervomaysky"), Sergey Pisarenko (electoral district No. 5 "Central"), Anton Onufrienko (electoral district No. 4 "Leninsky"), Oleg Petrik (electoral district No. 3 "Borisovsky"), Yuriy Kucherenko (electoral district No. 2 "Memorial") and the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov (electoral district No. 1 "Solnechny"). The Parliament Speaker, a resident of Bendery, congratulated the residents of the city and employees of the state administration on behalf of the Supreme Council and on his own behalf. The Speaker of the Parliament voiced the congratulations of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky. The Chairman of the City Council of People's Deputies of Bendery Yuriy Kara gave a congratulatory speech. It should be noted that the highest body of state power in the territory of Bendery was the Council of People's Deputies and its Executive Committee until 1995. The Supreme Council adopted the law "On local authorities and local self-government and state administration in the PMR" on November 5, 1994. The new law provided for the creation of state administrations of districts, cities and villages. The Executive Committee of the Council of People's Deputies of Bendery was transformed into a state administration in January 1995.

Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov took part in the awarding of a number of employees with state awards. Assistant to the chief architect of Bendery Igor Shvydkiy was awarded the medal "For Distinction in Labor."

Creative groups of Bendery presented musical and dance numbers to the audience after the ceremony of presenting state awards.
