A chapel was constructed in memory of the April Day events in 2002. Bendery residents, representatives of state authorities, public figures, widows and mothers of the victims gather near it every year.
The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky addressed the audience at the chapel. The President emphasized that the terrible events of 32 years ago, the armed invasion without declaring war and the destruction of civilians is a terrorist act.
