The bonds of friendship

Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva held meeting at  parliamentary  site with the Russian writer Alexander Sergeyev. The dialogue was attended by the head of the consultative assembly of the first Pridnestrovian deputies of the Chairman of the Supreme Council, Igor Smirnov, a member of the consultative meeting Vladimir Rylyakov, chairman of the Republican Union of Defenders of Pridnestrovie, Deputy Chairman of the Tiraspol City Council Vladimir Buchka.Aleksandr Sergeev, who lives in Moscow is not the first time visiting our republic. The result of his previous visit in 2014 was the book "Pridnestrovie today: problems and prospects of life", which was published with the support of the Russian Institute of Strategic Studies (RISS).The Russian guest at each visit  did not cease to be surprised that he calls "the Pridnestrovian phenomenon".The first President of PMR Igor Smirnov as a basis for strengthening cooperation between Russia and our republic offered to resume the practice of holding Days of Pridnestrovie in Moscow and the Moscow Days in Pridnestrovie, organization of press tours for Russian journalists and writers in order to subsequently they could talk to readers, viewers and listeners about how Pridnestrovians live. Earlier in the 90s of the last century international film festival "Golden Knight" was held in Pridnestrovie, Congress of the Union of Writers of Russia.At the end of the meeting, Alexander Sergeyev gave the book "Pridnestrovie today: problems and prospects of life" with the author's autograph to the participants.
