Supplementary pension for some categories of citizens were increased

The President Vadim Krasnoselsky proposed a number of amendments to the Law "On state pensions for the citizens of PMR". The President proposed to increase by 25% supplementary pensioners for combatants, armed conflicts combat operations to protect the USSR on the territory of other states. There are about two hundred of such citizens registered at the profile ministry. The law-in-draft was developed after appealing to the President by veterans of the war in Afghanistan.

Children with disabilities under 18 can also feel support from the state. The law-in-draft proposes to increase the allowances to social pensions by 25%, and from 2019 - by 50%. In addition, it is envisaged to increase the allowances to pensions for disabled children under the age of 18 temporarily in need of external assistance. The supplementary in 2018 will be 75% of the minimum pension, and from 2019 - 100%.

The draft law is supported by parliamentarians in the second reading. The deputy corps also decided to consider the legislative initiative in the third and final reading already at the next plenary.
