To perpetuate the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland

The Supreme Council adopted the draft of a new law for the republic “On perpetuation of the memory of those who died defending the Fatherland” in the first reading. It was proposed by parliamentarians Igor Buga, Andrei Safonov and Ruslan Gareev. As the developers explained, a lot of inconsistencies arose due to the absence of this legislative act.

According to the head of the responsible committee, the new law will be as the basis for the development of a whole block of legislative acts related to the search activity that is conducted in the territory of the republic. It will also protect burials from the so-called “black diggers”, which today sell found in graves artifacts.
