The Budget of the Capital for 2017 is approved

In the course of today's session, deputies of the Tiraspol City Council adopted the city budget for 2017. Vice-Speaker of Parliament, deputy of the Supreme Council from Tiraspol Galina Antyufeeva took part in the consideration of the main financial document of the year.

The Law "On the Republican Budget for 2017" defines the main parameters of all local budgets, the amount of subsidies from the road fund and transfers to cover expenses on socially protected items. Taking into account subsidies for the development of the road industry, Tiraspol's revenues are set at 234.290.649 rubles, expenses – 303.955.504 rubles. Thus, the budget deficit of the capital budget was just over 33 million rubles.

During consideration of targeted budget programs, the deputies drew attention to the formation of a structure for spending funds coming to the local treasury from the tax on the housing fund and objects of the social and cultural sphere. Part of the funds, about 2.5 million rubles (in total it is planned to collect about 11 million rubles), the people's representatives proposed to send for the repair of the housing stock under the program of execution of the voters' orders. As the head of the City Council Albina Ivanova explained, last year the money was not allocated for these purposes, the deputies did not have the opportunity to help Tiraspol residents with the repair of the entrances, improvement of the adjacent areas. At the same time, local deputies agreed with the opinion of the representatives of the state administration - in the absence of other sources, they send funds from the tax to pay salaries and other socially protected articles.

This year, Tiraspol was defined as a city with a subsidized budget. This means that the local revenues in order to cover all the necessary expense items are not enough.

In order to increase the efficiency of expenditures, the deputy commissions examined the items of expenditure, each budget figure, almost "under a magnifying glass". This, for example, allowed planning funds for the construction of a new landfill for the storage of solid domestic waste, optimizing the costs of road repairs, improvement and landscaping of urban areas. It is also planned to improve the entry to the capital: a conference of the International Assembly of Cities will be held on the occasion of the 225th anniversary in Tiraspol, which will be celebrated on October 14.

Local deputies and the proposal of the Deputy Galina Antyufeeva took into consideration. Not for the first year citizens of "The Western" microdistrict appeal to it. During rainy weather, their houses are constantly undermined. The city council decided to allocate funds for solving this problem from the municipal environmental fund.

Vice Speaker of the Parliament Galina Antyufeeva emphasized that the results of budget execution, in many respects, depend on the interaction of the authorities.
