The government submitted law-in-draft on amendments and additions to the law "On the republican budget 2019" to the deputies. As explained by the First Deputy Minister of Finance Alena Ruskevich, the legislative initiative concerns the distribution of balances of the consolidated budget funds for the past year. Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov urged the official representative to explain to parliamentarians, as well as colleagues from the local government bodies of cities and districts, what expenses are planned in connection with the determination of budget balances.

For the Republican Ecological Fund the carry-over balance is about 500 thousand rubles, for the Road Fund - about 11 million rubles. The funds of the latter are planned to be allocated for the improvement of the entrance to the city, to purchase a concrete paver for the road service of the capital. The funds from the republican budget remaining from last year are planned to be spent on various purposes, in particular, to increase the planned expenditures of the Capital Investment Fund. It is planned to allocate 1 million rubles for the restoration of dams, 5 million rubles for the repair of the sewer in Bendery, another 6 million rubles for the repair of the Republican Mother and Child Center. 34 million rubles is planned for buying medical equipment, including ambulances. About 2 million rubles will be spent on measures to restore the reclamation complex.

According to Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov, the law-in-draft was formed during numerous working meetings with members of the Government.

As the chairman of the relevant parliamentary committeeOleg Vasilatynoted, the deputies had a number of questions that require clarification and explanation. Taking into account the comments, the deputy corps adopted the draft law in the first reading. Work on it will continue.
