Conditions for training para-athletes

The Republican sports rehabilitation center for people with special needs will have a new building. It is located in Lenin Street, 1/3 in Tiraspol. Last year, on behalf of the President, the previously empty building was transferred to the rehabilitation center for people with special needs. The work here is carried out under the program of the Capital Investment Fund. A multifunctional sports center for people with special needs is planned to open next year. According to the project, it will have a gym, a room for playing drafts and chess, a sports hall for tennis, as well as a library and a recording studio.

A greater number of specialists and support staff will be required for the center to work effectively. In this regard, it is necessary to make adjustments to the current legislation. In the regime of legislative necessity, the President Vadim Krasnoselsky sent law-in-draft to the Supreme Council providing for the inclusion of additional posts of specialists from the rehabilitation center for people with special needs.

The law-in-draft was held by the deputies in the first reading. Work on the document will be continued as part of its preparation for consideration in the second reading.
