To hear the opinions of social activists

The President Vadim Krasnoselsky met with representatives of public associations in the House of Official Receptions. The Dialogue with social activists at the end of the year is traditionally held. Today, its participants were Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeyva, Chariman of the Government Alexander Martynov, parliamentarians Sergey Cheban, Igor Buga, Anton Onufrienko, as well as heads of ministries and departments of the republic.

In the course of the meeting, they talked about the work of non-profit and non-governmental organizations. The President aimed at cooperation of these associations with the executive authority. All exciting issues should be discussed within the framework of the councils of NGOs and organizations created by the Government, the President is sure.

It concerns the timing of the consideration of citizens' applications by representatives of the authorities.

The representative of the Society for the Protection of Patient Rights “GLIN” Galina Fedotova raised the issue of the accessibility of medical facilities, as well as the payment of benefits to people caring for people with disabilities older than 18 years. According to the social activist, there are approximately 600 such families in the republic today. They need state support.

Social support for people with disabilities is a priority for the state. Starting this year, the Equal Opportunities program adopted by the Supreme Council has been implemented in Pridnestrovie. One of the goals of the program is to provide an accessible environment for special people. The amount of financing is 5 million rubles. This means both the republican and local budgets.

As part of the meeting, the topic of keeping a shelter for homeless animals was raised. The Head of the Center for Animal Welfare Irina Plagova said that the shelter is on the balance of the bakery, and a public organization is looking for the opportunity to become the owner of the territory where the shelter is now located.

As President Vadim Krasnoselsky noted, today the question of the existence of such a shelter is of concern to many. The opinions of people are divided into pros and cons.

The meeting also discussed the possibility of creating a shelter for homeless animals in Tiraspol.
