The Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic has been striving for peace for more than three decades of its existence. The leadership of our state has repeatedly emphasized the importance of conveying this position to the world community. This issue has gained particular urgency today.

It is especially important in the difficult and tense situation around Pridnestrovie to convey to the world community the peaceful and constructive position of our state. The deputies of the Supreme Council are convinced that one of the methods is official statement.

The importance of such a statement was noted by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky. According to the PMR President it fully reflects the opinion of the Pridnestrovian people, striving to preserve peace.

Immediately after the announcement of the adoption of the Resolution on the statement of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on the situation around Pridnestrovie, the information caused a wide resonance in the foreign media. Russian and Moldovan publications showed particular interest.
