Surcharges for doctors on duty at home will be increased

Health care providers will increase surcharges for urgency. Doctors will receive as half an hour of working time in a medical institution for each hour of duty at home. Previously, the amount of surcharge, according to the decree of the Government, was 20%. Deputy of the Supreme Council Ilya Vasiliev proposed amendments to the Labor Code to increase the percentage. Today, the Supreme Council adopted amendments in the final reading.

The schedule of duty at home is approved by leadership of the medical institution. In this case, health care workers must be waiting for a call. At any time he must arrive at workplace so that the patient's assistance is provided in a timely manner.

The law-in-draft adopted in the final reading is sent for signature to the President. The document will enter into force on July 1 of this year.
