Simplify the activities of entrepreneurs

30.01.2018

Members of the Presidium of the parliament outlined the agenda for tomorrow's plenary session, and also outlined the issues for discussion on the 14th of February. The next plenary meeting is scheduled for this date.

Tomorrow, the people's deputies will have to adopt new legislative norms in final reading that allow legal entities to suspend economic activity for a period of up to three years without liquidating the company (enterprise). This legislative initiative was born at the request of the entrepreneurs themselves, experiencing temporary difficulties in connection with the decline in business activity.

At the suggestion of the profile parliamentary committee for the development of entrepreneurship, the deputy corps will have to decide on the possibility of revoking the license for certain types of entrepreneurial activities. In particular, it is about the manufacture of orders and medals, the verification of measuring instruments, the provision of employment assistance services, etc. If the law-in-draft is adopted, those wishing to engage in these activities will not incur additional costs associated with obtaining a license. In addition, the proposed measures will give impetus to the development of certain types of entrepreneurial activities.

The subject of consideration during the meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council were also legislations related to the parliamentary committee on education, science and culture. In particular, it is proposed to adopt a legislative norm, according to which a demonstration of domestic films is possible without a rolling certificate.

It is also proposed to put on the legal basis the questions of passing the unified state exam (USE) by the Pridnestrovian schoolchildren. The main purpose of the proposed changes to the laws "On Education" and "On Higher and Post-Graduate Professional Education" is to legislatively consolidate the procedure for passing the state final certification in the form of USE in schools, as well as admission to higher education. According to the law-in-draft, from this academic year it is planned to cancel the additional USE - on the subject to choose from. There remain only two compulsory subjects - the native language (Russian, Moldovan or Ukrainian) and mathematics.

In February, a package of legislations related to the activities of non-profit organizations will also be submitted to the court of the deputy corps. Igor Buga, the head of the responsible committee for public associations, sports, information and youth policy, regarded this package of legislative measures as "a clear signal to the non-governmental sector, the establishment of an understandable and transparent relationship between the state and civil society".
