Adjustment of the norms for the appointment of heads of educational institutions

Only a candidate with a higher pedagogical education of the second level will be able to apply for the position of head of a city educational organization (school, kindergartens, etc.). This is a graduate or master's degree. Deputies of the Parliamentary Committee on Education – Igor Buga, Pavel Shinkaryuk and Andrey Safonov proposed to amend the Law of the PMR "On Education".

The adopted norms prohibit close relatives from holding the positions of director and deputy director in the same educational organization. Close relatives include parents, spouses, brothers, sisters and children. The prohibition applies to close relatives of the spouse.

The law-in-draft on amendments to the Law of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic "On Education" was adopted by the deputies of the Supreme Council in the second final reading, they will enter into force immediately after signing by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and official publication.
