Inter-Parliamentary Dialogue

Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov met with his Russian colleague, State Duma deputy in the constituency 0010 (North - Republic of Dagestan) Umakhan Umakhanov.

He is the deputy chairman of the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots in the State Duma of the seventh convocation, and also a member of the commission on legal support for the development of organizations of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation. He is a member of the faction of the All-Russian political party "UNITED RUSSIA". Umakhanov is an honorary professor at the Moscow Institute of International Business at the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.

During the meeting, the Russian parliament discussed issues of supporting compatriots, expanding inter-factional interaction, as well as preparing an exhibition on Pridnestrovie, which will be held at the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

On the same day, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The subject of discussion was the training of personnel for the sectors of the economy of Pridnestrovie; determining mechanisms for retraining and advanced training of Pridnestrovian specialists.

A number of agreements have been reached on the implementation of joint applied projects.
