Teachers with a capital letter

Grateful students send words of gratitude on Teacher's Day to their mentors in letters, messages from all over the world. One of these teachers is Nina Aleksandrovna Elagina. She is 96 and can tell about anyone she has ever taught. Nina Alexandrovna began her professional career in 1938 as a 17-year-old girl, then as a front-line soldier she went through the entire Great Patriotic War, after she worked as a teacher in the Far East, in Primorsky Krai and Lipetsk. The honorary teacher was congratulated by the parliamentarian Ilona Tyuryaeva, calling her an amazing person.

There are certificates of honor, letters of thanks, clippings of newspapers with articles about Nina Alexandrovna, and, of course, letters from her former students in a folder, modestly lying on the table. Together with deputy Ilona Tyuryaeva, who tries to visit veterans more often, Nina Alexandrovna reads a recent letter from a student from the Far East. It contains a story about the meeting of pupils who have already become elderly, memories of school years and a poem written by a student in gratitude to the first teacher.

Ilona Tyuryaeva on Teacher's Day considers it obligatory to visit her teacher in Moldavian. Anna Ipatievna Fedulova worked at Tiraspol Secondary School No. 2 for many years, among her graduates — Vladimir Verilyakov, deputy of the Supreme Council of the first convocation, one of the founders of the republic, Oleg Bayev, deputy of the Supreme Council of several convocations, public and political figure Nikolay Buchatsky, Olympic champion Igor Dobrovolsky. This year, September 8, the honored teacher of the republic, Anne Fedulova, turned 90 years old. The path of the teacher for Anna Ipatievna began in 1947, in the first post-war years.

Experience came later, deserved rewards and pride for their students, who today do not forget to congratulate their beloved teacher.
