The Accounting and Control

The Accounts Chamber is the supervisory of the legislative body of the Republic. Including conducted by employees audits, primarily targeted nature of budgetary expenditure, Parliament exercises control functions. The new composition of the deputies, as prescribed by the Regulations, uses this instrument of parliamentary control.

The agenda of the last meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council listed a few questions relating to the conduct of the Accounts Chamber of the expert-analytical and control activities in various areas. Chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance, Alexander Martynov informed presidium colleagues on the necessary of the next.

Amendments to the earlier adopted resolution of Parliament, concerning the Accounts Chamber of the expert-analytical and control activities, 2014 increased the period of validation targeted use of special gas account.

In addition, a group of 16 parliamentarians has initiated a parliamentary investigation. Reason - decline in foreign economic activity and, consequently, a decrease in revenues in the republican budget for fees from import duties.
