Pridnestrovie has both conditions and resources to achieve economic self-sufficiency

The PMR President announced the goals and objectives for each ministry and department a week ago. Most of them involve the joint work of all government bodies: the tasks of ensuring the economic self-sufficiency and food security of Pridnestrovie, for example. The Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic as a whole and the Committee for Economic Policy, Budget and Finance in particular as well as the ministries of the economic bloc, will work in this direction. The head of the relevant parliamentary committee Viktor Guzun considers that Pridnestrovie has both the conditions and resources to achieve the level of economic self-sufficiency.

According to the PMR Supreme Council Deputy, widespread reclamation will encourage agricultural producers to grow more vegetables and fruits that will provide additional added value and ensure the food security of Pridnestrovie.

The Head of the relevant parliamentary committee commented on the President's instructions for the most accurate and efficient use of funds by all state authorities and administrations. Now there is a mechanism for public procurement of goods and services in this area. Vadim Krasnoselsky set the task of improving the tender procurement procedure.
