July 12 the State Duma at the plenary session adopted in the second reading amendments to the law "On Citizenship of the Russian Federation", to facilitate the procedure for obtaining Russian citizenship and residence permits for citizens of Ukraine, "The Parliamentary newspaper" writes. The new rule of law will be effective from September 1 this year.

Now Ukrainian needs to surrender the existing citizenship of Ukraine in order to obtain a Russian passport in a simplified procedure. This is a long and complex bureaucratic procedure that stretches for years. State Duma deputies believe that the amendments to the Law will facilitate the lives of many Ukrainians.

Particularly relevant is the new norm for the Crimea. According to the State Duma deputy from the Crimea Natalia Poklonskaya, the adoption of the regulation is expected by thousands of people, application for renunciation of surrender of which are ignored by the Ukrainian authorities.

Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues Vladimir Kashin suggested setting a marginal trade margin for essential products. This is due to the fact that the sellers of food products decided to raise prices, citing the poor harvest of the cold summer of 2017. At the same time, the Bank of Russia allowed an increase in the rate of food inflation from July to September. Vladimir Kashin supposes that such a rise is caused more by artificial causes. It is noteworthy that both the Ministry of Agriculture and the Russian Grain Union do not share the pessimistic forecasts of the Bank of Russia either. In order to prevent a further rise in prices by retail chains, it is necessary, according to the head of the Duma Committee on Agriculture, as soon as possible to establish state regulation of prices for socially important goods.

Development Program of the digital economy will receive serious legislative support, and will be one of the priorities of the Parliament in the autumn session, said Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko. According to her, the implementation of the program will require legal support, clarification, changes in legislation, drafting new legislations, according to the website of the House of Parliament. Russia has all the possibilities - intellectual, human, scientific - in order to take a leading position in the development of the digital economy, the head of the Federation Council is convinced. Valentina Matviyenko also emphasized that "The Digital Economy" program was the main topic of last week the meeting of the Presidential Council for Strategic Development and priority projects.
