Stand firm on protecting economic security

The State Customs Committee is 25. The grand meeting on the occasion of the jubilee was held today in the Great Hall of the Palace of the Republic. Galina Antyufeeva, vice-speaker of the Parliament, parliamentarians, members of the Government congratulated the customs personnel.

In the course of the solemn meeting it was noted that the customs system of the republic has passed a great way of development and strengthening for 25 years.

The staff of the State Customs Committee was congratulated by the deputy of the Supreme Council Petr Pasat, a former employee of the customs agencies. He also recalled that more recently the deputy corps adopted changes to the Customs Code. There is a number of indulgences regarding conscientious participants in economic activity. Work on the document lasted more than a year. As a result, customs procedures for economic agents were significantly simplified.

Deputy of the Supreme Council Petr Pasat, formerly a member of the customs agencies congratulated the staff of the State Customs Committee. He also read out a welcome address from the Chairman of the Supreme Council, Alexander Shcherba.

Particularly distinguished employees of the department were awarded state awards.
