Mini-football tournament was held in Bendery

The annual mini-football tournament dedicated to the memory of the famous football player Sergei Kuznetsov was held in the Gorky Park of Bendery. Sergei Ivanovic is the defender of the Moldovan Championship, the third player in the history of the national division in terms of the number of matches played. He played in such clubs as Zimbru, Tiligul, Kuban (Krasnodar) and others.

One of the organizers of the commemorative tournament is Sergei Pisarenko, deputy of the Supreme Council for constituency Number 5 "Central". Teams of football veterans from Bendery, Tiraspol and the village of Kirsovo (Gagauzia) performed on the sports ground.

The first to hit the ball was Matvey, the son of Sergei Kuznetsov. The teams then played each other in a round robin system. The match consisted of two halves of 20 minutes each.

The winners were determined by the number of points scored. The first place was taken by the team of sports veterans from the city of Bendery. On the second line are the football players of the city of Tiraspol, the third place was taken by the team from Gagauzia. The winners were awarded with cups and commemorative diplomas.
