As of the morning of November 29, the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the PMR has not received complaints from citizens of our republic regarding violation of electoral rights. The news agency Novosti Pridnestrovya writes about this. Early voting took place without violations, said the deputy chief of the inspection of the Ombudsman's Office, Alexander Olshakov.
Complaints are accepted by email. The address can be found on the Ombudsman's website. The situation on the ground is controlled by the staff of the Office of the Ombudsman. Particular attention is paid to the observance of sanitary norms and rules at polling stations.
The Ombudsman and the staff of the Office monitor the implementation of electoral legislation in the elections within the framework of an agreement signed with the Central Election Commission in September this year. The right to elect and be elected is one of the basic rights of a citizen, enshrined in the PMR Constitution.
At the morning briefing at the Information Center of the PMR CEC, it was noted that there were no complaints to the prosecutor's office, the Office of the Human Rights Ombudsman and the courts.
