The Center of Attraction for Art Lovers

The Tiraspol Art Gallery now has a new place of residence - this is a house on the capital's waterfront. The first exhibition was opened today, on the eve of the celebration of the city. There are three halls in the gallery. The first one is dedicated to the works of the artist Alexander Foinitsky, who captured the crucial moments of Tiraspol life on canvas. The work of his students - famous artists, as well as students of art school named after Alexander of Foinitsky are in the two remaining rooms.

Once the artist only dreamed that a place appeared in the city where the national wealth would accumulate. Today his dream came true. As the director of the Tiraspol United Museum Alla Melnichuk told, the art gallery in the capital has been working for a long time. This is the third, and as museum workers hope, the final address of its registration.

The head of the city, Oleg Dovgopol, said that the premises were equipped in accordance with modern European standards. A special point light is installed around the entire perimeter of the gallery. Mobile modules will help to show the pictures in a favorable light. There are 12 of them.

Vice-Speaker Galina Antyufeeva expressed confidence that the modern art gallery will become the center of attraction for all art lovers.

They plan to hold training workshops for young artists in the new building. Themed evenings here will be able to unions of artists and photographers, as well as other creative organizations of the city.
