"The Russian World: the Present and the Future" International Conference, timed to the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the Russky Mir Foundation was opened. At 10:00 there was a solemn opening ceremony of the forum in the Small Hall of the State Kremlin Palace. Compatriots from 80 countries came to Moscow to participate in the conference "The Russian World: the Present and the Future". As we already informed, members of Pridnestrovian delegation, headed by Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba, became members of the forum. Galina Antyufeeva, Vice Speaker of Pridnestrovian Parliament, Elena Gorodetskaya, CEC Chairman, Stepan Beryl, rector of the PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko, are in its composition.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev sent greetings to participants and guests of the international conference "The Russian World: the Present and the Future", calling the fund "the center of attraction" of millions of people who "truly love Russia".

The Premier expressed confidence that the conference will be a bright, memorable event, an effective platform for the exchange of experience, will launch new projects, and wished participants and guests "fruitful discussions, successful implementation of the plans and all the best".

The conference program includes a panel discussion "The Russian World: Identity and Consolidation" (led by Vyacheslav Nikonov), a panel discussion "Texts of the Russian World: Classics and Modernity" (led by Lyudmila Verbitskaya, President of the Russian Academy of Education), "The Open Tribune" Participants of the conference.
