Labor Code, Social Services and Pharmaceutical Activities

The Supreme Council is working on the adjustment of the Labor Code. Amendments in legislation are aimed at giving flexibility in labor relations. For example, it is proposed to give the employee the right to use annual paid leave for the first year of work after six months. Now you can take a vacation after 11 months in a new place. The preference for leaving work will be given to people with disabilities with a downsizing. The order of distance work is also prescribed in the Labor Code. It is also proposed to almost double the maximum allowable time for overtime work - up to 250 hours. It is possible only with the consent and if desired by the employee. Today - no more than 120 hours.

A special commission that includes deputies of the Supreme Council is working on the law-in-draft.

Deputies adopted amendments to the Labor Code in the first reading. The relevant committee will continue to work on the law-in-draft, taking into account the views of deputies, the Federation of Trade Unions and other legal entities of legislative initiative.

Amendments to the law "On social services for senior citizens and people with special needs" were adopted in the first reading. Those who need social services and those who provide social services will conclude a special agreement.

The amendments were required by the law “On pharmaceutical activities in the PMR”. It did not spell out a mechanism for the exclusion of medical and pharmaceutical products from state registers. The amendments were proposed by the deputies of the relevant parliamentary committee - Sergey Cheban, Ilya Vasiliev, Vladimir Pelin and Yuri Kravchuk.
