The Supreme Council deputy from “The Central” constituency №36 Ilona Tyuryaeva, as well as members of the city council Elena Soboleva, Konstantin Royman, Nicholai Obruchkov and Oleg Sokolenko held a meeting with activists of the constituency at the end of last week. This traditional spring event was timed to several past holidays - the Day of Defender of the Fatherland, the International Women's Day, and "Martisor".
Participants of the meeting were representatives of the city council of veterans, the public organization of visually impaired people, the chairmen of house committees, actively involved in the life of the district residents. Problems and achievements of the constituency were discussed in an informal atmosphere. The leisure center CJSC "Tirotex" actors prepared a show for the meeting. Performances of activists themselves - chairman of the city organization "Society of the Blind" Olga Aksenty, director of the National Sports Centre Disabled Gregory Cheban, heads of primary organizations of veterans council number 8 and №3 Galina Shcherbina and Yefrosinya Pirogov, activist house number 22 Lenin str. Victor Bragin were met with warm. Poems and songs, wishes for a successful collaboration for the benefit of residents of the Capital district sounded in the hall. Activists for tea party told about the brightest events of the past year, shared their impressions, thanked deputies for their cooperation. Participants of the meeting discussed new plans for 2016.
Deputy Ilona Tyuryaeva considers such activities an important part of the work in the district. The parliamentarian Ilona Tyuryaeva also noted that it was important to work on the constituency in close cooperation of the Supreme Council of Deputies and the local Council of Deputies.
