Tiraspol is 229 years old

Dear residents of Tiraspol!

I congratulate you on the 229th anniversary of the founding of the city of Tiraspol on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic!

Today we celebrate this holiday, filled with pride, for the glorious history of our city, which is inextricably linked with the history of Russia and with the names of great commanders. The city of Tiraspol was founded under the leadership of Alexander Suvorov in 1792.

Every year the capital of Pridnestrovie is transforming its appearance: architecture is changing, new modern houses, large shopping and entertainment centers are being built, new roads are being repaired and built.

The Catherine Park that is filled with the joyful laughter of children and the smiles of good-natured and hospitable townspeople, has become a favorite vacation place for residents of Tiraspol and guests of the city. We are proud of our beautiful city!
