11.01.2019

The state administration of the capital presented the draft local budget for 2019 to the public. Discussion of this issue in the format of open hearings has been practiced for several years. This allows informing citizens about the planned work in the city, listen to the proposals. The leaders of the municipal housing and utilities enterprises, city organizations, administrations, as well as deputies of all levels were invited to the conversation. Speaking about the budget for 2019, the deputy head of the city state administration Natalya Chernitskaya, called it “socially oriented and balanced in socially protected items of expenditure”.

Among the priority costs and the payment of summer vacation workers education. Every year the city faced a shortage of funds for this purpose. According to the head of the city Oleg Dovgopol, it was proposed to continue the practice of monthly savings, which was positively last year.

Revenues of Tiraspol in 2019 are planned in the amount of 302.7 million rubles, expenses - 366.3 million rubles. The city budget, though scarce, but not subsidized. This means that the capital has the power to ensure immediate expenditures on its own, and at the same time has the right to provide funds for development. The capital has ambitious plans in this direction. Of course, not without the help of the republican budget, including the capital investment fund.

Tiraspol trolleybus management will receive an additional over 3.5 million rubles for the purchase of technological equipment and the laying of networks along a new route. As the head of the state administration said, the expansion of the trolleybus network is planned in the Oktyabrsky district.

Global plans include the overhaul of several city dormitories, heating to the Kremenchug secondary school (the village is part of the capital), the continuation of the central fountain and two children's complexes in Pobeda Park and the public garden named after Volan. The funds from the capital investment fund will be allocated for the repair of the republican clinical hospital and several city polyclinics. According to the deputies of the City Council, much can be done in the constituencies.

It was noted that due to the constructive interaction of local deputies and parliamentarians representing the interests of residents of the capital, they managed to approve the level of revenues and expenditures of the local budget worthy of the capital. These indicators are determined by the law “On the Republican Budget” and depend, inter alia, on what proportion of the taxes collected in the city will go to the needs of the republic, and what remains in the city. According to Albina Ivanova, this year the residents of Tiraspol are generally satisfied with the budget figures. The project of the local budget is planned to be approved at the session of the City Council until the end of January.
