Liberators in the 1944 and the first defenders of Pridnestrovie in 1992 Memorial of Glory in Tiraspol. Its participants walked here at the end of the solemn ceremony of taking the oath by the President Vadim Krasnoselsly to people of Pridnestrovie. They came to a holy place for each Pridnestrovian to pay tribute and respect to those who gave their lives on the battlefield in order to have peace, for freedom and independence of Pridnestrovie.
The first President of PMR Igor Smirnov and the current head of state Vadim Krasnoselsky laid a wreath. Following them, fresh flowers on the granite slabs of the memorial were laid by the Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Shcherba, Prime Minister Pavel Prokudin, parliamentarians, members of the Government, heads of ministries and departments, local authorities, official representatives of South Ossetia and Abkhazia in PMR, the representatives of the judicial community, Tiraspol -Dubossarskoy diocese of the Russian diplomatic mission in Moldova, the command OGRF and peacekeeping forces, the People's Assembly of Gagauzia delegation led by Olesya Tanasoglo.After laying flowers at the Palace of youth creativity to the music anthem PMR solemn ceremony of hoisting the national flag.
