Coordinate the positions

Meeting of the "Obnovlenie" parliamentary faction was held online. Traditionally, meetings of the faction are held before the plenary meeting of the Supreme Council in order to verify the positions of the deputies on important for the state legislations.

The Head of the faction Petr Pasat informed his colleagues that the President's initiative will be considered at the plenary session in the mode of legislative necessity. It concerns the purchase of apartments for orphans in Dnestrovsk and Bendery. It is proposed to adopt this law-in-draft in two readings. The faction deputies supported this initiative.

Chairman of the Committee on Social Policy Sergei Cheban informed his colleagues that the plenary session will consider the legislative initiative of the Committee on Entrepreneurship.

These legislations have already been adopted in the first reading. They received suggestions and comments. In accordance with the financial and economic justification of the Government, more financial costs will be required for the implementation of these legislations. In this regard, the relevant committee divided the initiatives into two parts - by the date of entry into force. With regard to the initiative, which concerns sick leave payments in micro and small businesses, the law will come into force from 2021. Additional funds are not required for its implementation. The part related to maternity benefits for individual entrepreneurs will come into force from 2022. Deputies of the "Obnovlenie" faction supported such a solution to this issue.
