The Supreme Council supported the proposal of the Supervisory Board of the State Reserve Fund to increase the amount of concessional loans for peasant farms. As the head of the profile parliamentary committee Viktor Guzun noted, the initiative was based on the requests of farmers from different regions of the republic.
The parliamentarian informed his colleagues on the deputy corps that over the past month, representatives of the state reserve fund, deputies of the Supreme Council and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry held visits to cities and districts where they met with representatives of small businesses. The main task was to tell entrepreneurs about the opportunities for preferential lending and, most importantly, to understand how entrepreneurs themselves assess the pros and cons of this state program.
The parliamentarians agreed that the amount of the concessional loan for the peasant farm should be increased to 50,000 conventional monetary units. In other respects, as the head of the responsible committee reminded, the conditions for preferential lending for small businesses remain the same: a loan is issued to individual entrepreneurs and operating small businesses at 6% per annum for three years. Production, agriculture, innovative technologies are in priority. Only 15 directions are defined. The state support can also be used by those who are only planning to open their business. Entrepreneurs can apply for a soft loan before July 1. Then there will be a contest, according to which the best business ideas will receive funds for business development.
