The PMR Supreme Council was visited by Pridnestrovian State University students

An excursion for students of Pridnestrovian State University named after Shevchenko was held in the Supreme Council. The event was dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the formation of the legislature of the republic.

The excursion for a group of students majoring in Advertising and Public Relations was conducted by Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council, head of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of Rights and Freedoms of Citizens, as well as the Commission on Foreign Policy and International Relations Galina Antyufeeva. She spoke about the history of the creation of the legislature, its role in the life of the republic and the current activities of the deputy corps.

Students majoring in Advertising and Public Relations visited the plenary session hall and the briefing room for press conferences. The photo exhibition dedicated to key moments in the history of the Supreme Council was of great interest.

Future communications specialists visited the press service in addition, where they got acquaintance with working with information in a government agency. The students were offered to try their hand at voicing text and learning the basics of video editing, for example, informational video clips.

The students were present in the plenary session hall and were able to watch how a plenary session of the Supreme Council is held and study in practice the process of amending the current legislation on Wednesday. The excursion participants noted that such meetings help to better understand the structure of government and inspire the participation of the younger generation in the development of Pridnestrovie.
