Construction of a new sports complex in Tiraspol

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky inspected the progress of work at the facility near the school number 5 of the capital. The official website of the PMR President reports that it is planned to complete the construction of a mini-football field, basketball and volleyball courts, running tracks, a jump pit, and a workout zone by September on the site of the old stadium. Vadim Levitsky, Deputy of the PMR Supreme Council for the "Krasnodonsky" constituency number 31, where the school is located, took part in the visiting meeting. The parliamentarian noted that the construction of the sports and leisure area is a request of local residents. A similar project of a sports complex at the capital's school number 18, built last year, was taken as a basis.

6 million rubles are needed for the implementation of the project near school number 5, while 3 million have been allocated so far. There is a search for sources of additional funding. Deputies are joining. The participants of the field meeting spoke about the demand for the facility, noting that in addition to locations for games and training, infrastructure for recreation is needed - benches, gazebos, footpaths, a children's playground.
